Hey,
I wanted to email you to say thank you for the great election day email. This was probably the most concise and well written political information that I have seen since the campaign began. I had already returned from the polls by the time that I got the email, but I really hope it encouraged some other people to go. I was upset this week to learn that out of all of my friends, only one of them was voting. Hopefully emails like this that lay out the issues clearly and give good information can help encourage more young voters. You guys are role models and its always great to see role models urge young people to get involved.

I guess I should also tell you that I love your band. I saw you in St. Louis in August when I was there for my friend's 21st birthday. Hopefully I will be able to make it to another show sometime soon.

Thanks again,
Sarah L.

I'm Sara, I just heard King Me and I love your band!! I also love your singing. I read on the bio page that your an avid reader and writerwhat kind of stuff do you write and what kind of stuff do you read? How'd you meet the other band members. I'm always looking for good music, and I stumbled upon your site list night. I'm a singer/songwriter and beginner guitarist. I am also blind so music has an important role in my life. Who writes most of your songs. By the way my favorite song is "Liquefied" I love the lyrics!! I also love your voice, thanks for reading this e-mail. Please write soon, and if you have any questions about my blindness don't be afraid to ask! Don't forget to have fun!

Musically,

Hey Luke;

Just a note to give you righteous accolades on a great, energetic CD! Unique guitar riffs and I just love the "Thindy Brady" title! That's just maniacally wacky! What stations have one of your singles in rotation? Also, will "Liquefied" be on the next album? And how come zebra stripes don't run horizontal?

Threw that last one in there just for the hell of it. Damn hangover.....

King Me--

I met you guys at Slow Duck in Tulsa this weekend despite my loathing of the title "fan" I felt compelled to express my enthusiasim for your performance. This was the first time that we (my friend Audrey and I) had ever seen you guys and to say the least I was overwhelmed with your performance. Aside from the fact that you covered "Machine Head" and "I Alone", which alone elevates you to the top of my lists, I was also sincerely impressed with your original work. Your passion and feeling were visceral and inspiring to see. Your personal involvement with the "moment" of performance seemed to come from within in the truest sense. I hate to bog you down with the usual adoration, but I just wanted you to know that on a personal level your music, performance, and general aura moved me unlike anything I've recently seen. I wanted to say a special hello to Russell (and good luck studying, Steve, and Luke since I met you guys. Oh, and special thanks to Luke for the cd, that was cool. Best of luck in all that you are doing and I hope to see you again, soon.

Jennifer

Hey Luke,

Liquified is going to be a big hit. I am listening to it on the net. I would love to see some of the songs from "about life" become downloads. I enjoy reading the newsletter. Wish I was still in town to come see you guys but Delaware is kind of far to commute just to see you guys in a show. I have told alot of people about your site here on the east coast, They would love to hear more and since both of my cd's were stolen out of my car this one song is all they get to hear. We are all looking forward to hearing your next song on the net.

Your fan,

Just wanted to let you guys know what a great time--albeit beastly hot-- we had Saturday afternoon/eve. The kids had wanted to see King Me perform for sooooo long. Initially, they were overwhelmed, but quickly began singing and dancing. They were wiped on the way back to Wichita. I hope you can do more all ages shows in Wichita so we don't have to drive quite so far. They want more! You blew Ark. City away--it was exciting to see more and more people get to there feet as you continued to play. Also cool is the fact that they were into your original music, not only covers. That has to make you feel tingly! Anyway, thanks again for another great, rockin' show. You never let me down.

Diane (Schawe----English teacher @ South) and your youngest back-up singers - the twins, Casey and Quinton. Big sister Olivia, too.

P.S. GOOD LUCK IN MY HOMETOWN-ST. LOUIS--If I knew where the "Battle" was to be, I'd send some of "my people" to the show!

to the awesome Artists of King Me:

I saw you guys at the Edge Birthday Bash yesterday, and became and instant fan. You played Need Myself, Little Death, and Groper... Need Myself is so beautiful. I love how you interact with the crowd instead of just standing up there and playing. Its almost as if you're experiencing the music as you sing it, and that makes it more real and more relevant to the audience. I'm going to get the cd as soon as I can, and now that I'm legal, I just might catch you next time you're in Tulsa. I think you're going to be the band that I shamelessly force on all my friends.
And your web site is incredible!

Luke,

It is fitting that I send a e-mail to the lead singer. I have a friend down in Kansas named Rich that sent me a copy of you cd. He recorded it and over night mailed it to me. He send your web site address too. I must say that you guys rock. I thought he was sending me more junk but this was one of the bands tapes that he sent me that I think kicked some major ass. I just wanted to e-mail you and let you know how much I enjoyed your music. I hope that there will be another cd before Rich gets out of there so I can hear more of your music. Keep on Rockin and I hope I can make it down to a show before my buddy comes back up North.

Luke,

First of all, Happy New Year! How's it going? Second - Liquified is awesome! Burned it on disc and listen to it all the time. It sounds terrific; can hardly wait for the next c.d. My best friend and I drove to Dallas for New Year's and played the single, like, a million times, singing at the top of our lungs. Ahh...what fun! Well, enough reminiscence for now.

Need to go to one of your shows again very soon. Just out of curiosity, are you guys doing any U2 covers in your show yet? (Hint. Hint.)

Well, bye for now. Keep rockin'!
