band for signing the cd i bought for my son, he really enjoyed the cd. I had
a great time listening to the band at Mc Carthy's! All the members were
great! ,I've heard alot of bands play at Mc Carthy's but your band was
the greatest! not just in music ,but how you included the audience, most
bands don't have the time or interest to talk to ya. I hope to cya soon!

Hey, guys! This is Amy. I just thought I'd write to let ya know what a
great job you did last Saturday night at the Hideout!! You ( all 4 of you )
rocked!! Russell is hangin' in there pretty good!!! It was really fun to
make a road trip out of it! You guys are awesome and I never get sick of
following you around (any where I can get in). Keep it up!! Hope to see you

I'm back once again to tell you guys how much I love you and your music
alike. The show this weekend at the Hideout (like in Little Death) completely
"blew me away". I couldn't believe the energy you had! It was obvious to
anyone that you were having a great time, and that's what performance is all
about. I'd travel the trip a thousand times to see that show all over again.
I didn't catch the title, but I'M IN LOVE with the song that Steve plays an
acoustic. I need to hear it again to figure out exactly what it's all about,
but I can tell it's something really great. RUSSELL- You've proved yourself
worthy once again, and now I've seen the energy I was looking for in you.
You're a great player, and a wonderful addition to the band. Keep it up and
hopefully I'll see you very soon!

Hey Guys!
Let me start off by saying this is a great web site. We are
looking forward to having you in the 102.5 Studios again! We had a blast
last time and this time will be just as fun. The word about King Me coming to
The Hide Out has been spread! Since you were in our studios back in Sept.
doing a live performance, we have averaged at least one request each day for
your music. "Liquified" is a very popular tune with everyone here in the
102.5 listening area. For those of you who are checking out this web site,
and are big King Me fans, please tune into Modern Rock 102.5, KLPQ for a live
performance with King Me on Nov. 13th! And if you like what you hear on the
air, come to The Hide Out in Newkirk, OK that night to see them LIVE! We
will be giving away free passes to the show, so be listening! Guys I look
forward to seeing you on the 13th!
Rock On!

Hey Guys!
Just wanted to say what a great show at Oz Fest it was! (Although, I don't recall seeing Steve play in "the buff" like you said.)
Also, wanted to let you know how exciting it was to hear "Little Death " on T-95 the previous weekend. Hearing your music on the radio was great! It made me feel like a bit of a virgin again, because even though I'd always anticipated hearing you guys on the radio, when I actually did, it felt far better than I thought. The excitement I felt was actually stimulating, and it left me wanting to hear more! It was like hearing your music for the first time. So refreshing! So...maybe if I bug the T-95 guys enough. Ya think?
Sincerely,
Andrea

Subj: Great Web Site
Just wanted to say "Hey". The change to the web site is awsome. Very eye catchy. Sad to hear that Dan is leaving the band. He will be dearly missed by all. You guys did a great job Friday night or should I say early Saturday morning at the zoo. It is great to know that there are a lot of people wanting to do
all they can for such a good cause like to American Cancer Society. It is just so sad that it has already taken too many lives.
We look forward to hearing the band again the weekend after the 4th. We'll keep rockin' to the cd until then.
Take it easy and keep cool. Gotta love Kansas.

This is my first time to visit the website and I think it will help promotion very well. I just got back from the show at Cody's Big Sky. To tell you the truth I went to the first show to see Shaft but ever since then I look forward to seeing you guys perform. It would be really awesome if you would play some more all ages shows though. I went out right after my first show and bought the CD. Every single song on there is great! It's not like other CD's where only few of them are good. Your music is unlike any other kind and that is really refreshing. Keep playing great and us ladies will keep wearing something sexy!

Guys,
Your show at Scotty's Saturday night was great! It is virtually impossible to go to your guys' show and not just dance the whole time. I would dare anyone to try. Your covers of "Tainted Love" and "White Wedding" (and the others) were awesome! Have you ever taken a shot at U2's "Bullet the Blue Sky"? I bet that would be quite awesome! I noticed that Pete signed his name "King Pete" on my t-shirt. Just out of curiosity, how did he come up with that name? I'm very psyched to go to one of your shows again. Keep rockin'!

I loved the rendition of "White Wedding" and was so impressed with Dan; he didn't miss one guitar riff. He is fabulous and have no doubt he will win the guitar contest.
You guys just get better each time I see you if that is possible. My friends Sherry and i are compiling a scrap book for you and need to come to a show and take new pics.

Hey guys....
I drove all the way from St. Louis to Wichita's Incahoots.....( and to be perfectly honest, to see Rick Springfield) :-) I had no clue who was opening for Rick, nor had I ever heard of "King Me" I was totally blown away by you guys!!!! You sounded great and really brought back some of the good ole guitar rock sound that most of todays music is missing....... Since the place was so wild after the show, I couldn't even get over to where your CD was for sale....so, I cranked up the computer after I got back home to see if I could get it somewhere......and I was happy to see that it is supposed to be at the Blockbuster in St. Louis....( and while we're on the subject of St. Louis....GET OVER HERE!!!!!.....We have alot of places here that would LOVE to have you) Anyway......I'm off to buy the CD ...and I'll be spreading the word around...... Thank you for making a "great" nite even better!!!!!!

I saw you guys at the Rick show and you were GREAT! I heard several out- of-towners talking about how they thought that an opening band was a waste of time since everyone only wanted to see Rick. Well, those same people were dancing and screaming while you were on, so I'd say you changed their minds! :-) Also to the guitar player (sorry I don't know his name) A lot of the ladies were saying that you looked like a young Rick, they were VERY pleased. ;-)
Keep up the great work,

I saw you last night with Rick Springfield at Incahoots. I thought you guys were great and the first impression was that you were very polished. In particular, I noticed Dan get his picture taken with a girl from the front of the stage after the show. Moments later, he reappeared and handed her a guitar pick. In the smallest, noticable way, I thought "that was nice of him to do that for her." When you can show obvious care for your fans, whether it be by putting on a kick ass show or being gracious in the smaller ways, it is noticed.
I hope you guys do well and make it big. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend your band and hope to hear you again sometime.

I love being on your e-mail list. Even though I don't get to get out as much as I like, it will make it easier for me to find you guys when I do get out.
I finally got to listen all the way through your CD a couple of times without interuption. I'm very excited about how good it is. The first time I listened I had two songs I really liked the best, the second time two different ones. So, I guess I'll have to listen a few more times to determine which ones I start hearing in my head. The mix is real good. And, of course, I really appreciate the bass work.
Man, I really have high hopes for you guys. You have the music, and the right kind of marketing with the web site and e-mail and all and you guys seem to have the attitude that it takes to keep going until you are an overnight success (you know after years of hard work). Keep it up, that way I can say I knew you way back when.
Thanks for the referral on the bass player ad. I haven't checked them out yet, but it's the guy who owns channel 55 trying to put together a girl group to write and record. The one gal I talked to is around 23 and just learning to play guitar. They don't have bass or drums yet. I am not going to come in thinking that I probably have it more together than them, though, because I've seen a couple of people pick up a guitar and play rings around most people I know within a couple of months. The could be really fresh and exciting, they could be the opposite.
I'll let you know when I go audition.
Meantime, I'm not letting the grass grow under my fingers. I've got a couple of other people I'm talking to also. I turned down two offers to join great bands when I was with Royal Crush. So, I'm going to check out all possiblilites until I know for sure who I'm playing with are the best I can do. Royal Crush played so seldom I could have done another band and still played with them. Oh, well. We'll see, it's not like I haven't got enough to do.
So, I'll be in touch...hope to come out and see you guys again soon.
