Happy New Year
Party People!

Even though that greeting may be a little premature, we needed to make sure we expressed it before all the computers crashed and we weren't able to get you this message.

We want to suggest to any of you who have not received your confirmation letter for your New Year's Eve room and are planning on staying at the Four Points Sheraton for the New Year's Eve show, please call them at 316/686- 7131 and confirm your reservations. We'd hate for you to show up with your toothbrush and party dress and not have a room.

Also, those of you who are coming to the big Millennium Madness show need to be certain to stop by the King Me merchandise booth and get your picture taken. These classy photos are inexpensive, attractive and a perfect momento of your New Year's Eve experience. It may be your only means of remembering the evening.

Speaking of the new year, please come out this Sunday, January 2nd, to Scotty's bar in Wichita. This show might end up being 18 to enter, 21 to drink. Call 688-4449 before you head out if you're interested. So, come on out and keep the millennium momentum moving forward with King Me and Scotty's.

We want to thank everyone for a great '99. We played close to 100 shows, played with 3 guitarists, and finally started stretching our legs with some touring. It was an adventure and it was a tremendous amount of fun. We really appreciate the support and friendship you have all shown us. We hope that we have reciprocated with fun shows and sincere gratitude. We are confident that the best is yet to come for King Me and encourage you to come out more frequently in the following year to witness the next step in our evolution.

We also want to thank all the people who have helped us here and on the road. Thank you to the bands we have played with and the people who have booked us. We have been lucky to work with some wonderful and generous people.

That's all for this year.
Wear something sexy. Drink lots of Budweiser.
Don't forget to get your bottled water and ammunition.

We'll be playing all night this Friday, December 10th and headlining a benefit show featuring some of the best regional talent on Saturday night December 11th.

We always have great shows in Pittsburg. This is due in part to the incredible support of radio station 99.1 KSEK and also due to the fact that the students of Pittsburg State are out of control, head banging, dance floor packing, ass shaking, Budweiser drinking Party People of the highest caliber. Needless to say, we're excited to be playing at McCarthy's Pub this weekend.

Next weekend, December 17th & 18th, it's King Me at Scotty's Bar and Grill in Wichita. What can you want for at Scotty's? Time To Get Funky
Mayflower Style Party People!

Get the holiday season started just right with King Me this Sunday night, November 21st, at Scotty's in Wichita. These Sunday shows have a mind of their own and it's a great chance to wind up the weekend with some attitude.

Then, this Wednesday night, November 24th, it's the one we've been waiting for. It's the mighty mighty Pre-Thanksgiving bash at Scotty's. I am 100% certain that this party is what the Pilgrims had in mind when they headed to the new world. We've been playing these shows for a couple of years now and they are, perhaps the wildest shows of the year. Nobody works the next day, and it's the perfect way to work up an appetite.

Friday & Saturday, November 26th & 27th, King Me is still hanging out at Scotty's because we can't get enough of those world famous Psycho Slammers. Friday is historically the biggest shopping day of the year and this weekend will be the perfect time to pick up King Me merchandise for the Party People on your gift list. Just think, you could get all your shopping done in one night. Plus, have you ever been able to go to the mall with a Bud Light?

I also want to take a quick minute to thank all of you who we had the pleasure of meeting on our most recent "mini-tour" of Kansas and Oklahoma. We are looking forward to seeing all of you again soon. Or is that Sooner?

Drink lots of Budweiser. Wear something sexy.
Save me a drumstick.

The King Me week is just getting better. We are extremely excited to announce that Tuesday night, November 16th, it's King Me opening up For Caroline's Spine at America's Pub. The show is absolutely free and kicks off with Shaft at 9:00. Caroline's Spine were awesome at Oz Fest, and this is going to be a great chance to see them again.

This Sunday, it's King Me at >Scotty's in Wichita. Scotty's is always party central and we are fired up to be there for a special Sunday show.

But wait, there's more. Everybody knows that the holidays are all about King Me. Wednesday, November 24th, make plans to be back at Scotty's for our annual pre-Thanksgiving Bash. This show is one of the shows we look forward to playing all year. Each of these shows has proven to be an event in the past, and there's no reason to believe that this show will be any different. You don't have to work the next day, so there's no excuse for non-attendance.

That's all for now.
Drink lots of Budweiser. Wear something sexy.
We'll see you at the Pub and Scotty's.

King Me Y2K Warning and MUCH MORE!!

Alright party people. When the clock strikes midnight on New Year's Day, don't worry about having no electricity. Don't worry about planes falling on your head. Don't worry about nuclear holocaust. Don't worry about looting, governmental overthrows, food shortages, water shortages, computer viruses, financial institutions crumbling or the apocolypse. Worry about where you're going to be when the new millennium hits and where you're going to pass out when the party is finally over.

This weekend, November 5th & 6th, it's King Me back at the Port of Wichita. The Port has a great sound system, a big dance floor and some of the nicest staffs in the whole wide world. Keep in mind, the latest King Me motto is, "something new every show." So, if you haven't been to a show in a while, come out and see for yourself.

Next week, it's a King Me road trip. Wednesday, November 10th, King Me and Trim take the stage at Twisters in Pittsburg, Kansas. Wednesday nights at Twisters are fast becoming legendary and we are extremely excited to take the new King Me to our friends in Pittsburg.

At 4:00 on Wednesday the 10th, King Me will be interviewed on radio station KSEK 99.1 in Pittsburg. KSEK is a great station and has been extremely supportive of King Me and it will be fun to see our buddies at KSEK again.

Thursday, November 11th, King Me will at The Fur Shop in Tulsa, OK. We'll have a couple Tulsa bands opening up for us and we'll e-mail you details on them once we get them. You can learn more about The Fur Shop at http://www.furshop.com.

Friday, November 12th, King Me will be on the air at radio statio 93.7 KSPI in Stillwater, OK. If you can't make the drive to Stillwater, you can listen to King Me online at their website http://www.kspi.com.

That night, November 12th, it's King Me at world famous Eskimo Joe's in Stillwater, OK. What else needs to be said? You can get more information on Eskimo Joe's at http://www.eskimojoes.com.

Saturday, November 13th, King Me will be on the air at radio station 102.5 KLPQ out of Arkansas City starting at 4:00. We love this station. They support regional music like NO OTHER station around. We'll be playing some songs, giving away tickets to the show that night, and basically catching up with our friends at KLPQ.

Later that day, King Me and our heroes The TV Crimefighters are playing at The Hideout in Newkirk, OK. The Hideout is a very cool place. It's 16 to enter and 21 to drink and it will be a great show.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE. Hit the brakes Party People!!!

Due to the unexpected closing of the Tornado Club, we will not be playing this Friday night, July 30. We're truly sorry about any inconvenience this may cause, but such is showbiz. First Foreigner & Journey dog us, and now this. So, Friday night you can stay at home and nurse your hangover from tonights' show at America's Pub, or come hang out with us at the Brickyard while we support local music.

As always though, King Me is going to pull through for you. Thanks to the good folks at Cody's Big Sky, we're going to be playing at the Big Sky on Saturday, July 31, with Shaft and Trim. Cody's Big Sky is always a fun show and we're excited about Saturday's gig.

Then, Sunday August 1, it's going to another ALL AGES show at Cody's Big Sky with King Me, Trim and TV Crimefighters. Doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7:00. I keep telling you that these all ages shows are fun. Would I lie to you? Be there.

And if that's not enough, make your plans to hang out with King Me on New Years' Eve. We're not at liberty to discuss the details now, but I can tell you that if you're good boys and girls it could even include breakfast. If you're bad boys and girls it will include brunch.

Thursday night, July 29 it's King Me opening up for Shaft on the patio at America's Pub. Things Are Getting Better
Party People!

First, we are extremely sorry about the way things shook out with the Journey/Foreigner show at Sandstone. We know that the short notice cancellation has seriously inconvenienced many of you. We share your frustration. The short notice cancellation didn't do us any favors either. But here's the GREAT NEWS!! King Me worked hard to guarantee our fans and supporters a refund. Call them RIGHT NOW at 913/721-3400 and tell them that you're disappointed that King Me was cancelled and make arrangements to mail them your tickets for a refund. CALL THEM TWICE!! Let's make an impact. Tell them you are calling for Chris Fritz' office regarding a refund. They weren't going to offer refunds at first, but thanks to some initial phone calls from you, and some persistance by King Me the refunds are here. We'll, they aren't "here", but you'll get them. Stick it to them. Of course, I mean that with love. The great thing is that the promoters in KC are being cool and if they get enough phone calls from you, they're certain to hook us up with a good make-up show.

Here's more good news. King Me is opening up for Shaft at America's Pub on the patio this Thursday night. The cool thing about America's Pub is that they have great drink specials on Thursday night, and they're always packed with sexy people. I'm getting fired up just thinking about it. Show starts at 9:30.

Bad News Party People

King Me will not be performing at Sandstone this weekend with Journey and Foreigner. We absolutely hate to do this on such short notice, but we're letting you know as quickly as we were informed.

For those of you who are interested in refund information, you can call Ticketmaster at 816/931-3330 or contact them at http://www.ticketmaster.com. You can also contact Sandstone at 913/721-3400 or online at http://www.sandstonekc.com. Please tell your friends. Not everyone is on our e-mail list and we're really concerned about the people who are on our snail mail list that we won't be able to contact.

We want to apologize for any inconvenience this causes you. We know many of you have ordered tickets and made travel arrangements. We're more than a little bent out of shape about it ourselves.

But, please come out this Sunday, July 18 and support our friends Shaft, End of Story, Trim and Rachel Kice at Cody's Big Sky for another ALL AGES show. The doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7:00. These all ages shows have been getting bigger and better so plan on being there.

Wear something sexy. Drink lots of Budweiser.
We'll see you Sunday.

Celebrate Your Freedom
Party People!!

This weekend we celebrate our Independence! It's that time of year when we need to be grateful that, unlike England, we're not drinking warm beer, watching one of four television stations, and driving on the wrong side of the road.

King Me isn't playing this weekend, but come check us out next weekend, July 9 & 10 out on the patio at America's Pub.

Make plans now. Come see King Me open up for Journey and Foreigner at Sandstone Amphitheater on July 17. Tickets are still available through Ticketmaster. Call them at 816-931-3330.

Cowabunga Party People!!!

Thanks to all of you who came out to Cody's Big Sky Saloon this past weekend. The all ages show went great. I've been telling you these things were going to be fun. Sunday was our first show with our stunt guitarist, Jason Hobaugh, and he just plain rocked!!

Come out this weekend, June 25 & 26 to Scotty's Bar at Kellogg & Greenwich. Scotty's is home of the Psycho Slammer, and home of some of the best times we've had as a band. Shaft will be opening both nights. Saturday night we'll have some special intermission songs from Rachel Kice. If you missed her at the all ages show last month, you'll definitely want to be there to see her this weekend.

After Friday's show we're all heading out to the Sedgwick County Zoo to put on a show for the folks walking in the Relay for Life. It's a great event for the Cancer Society, and perhaps more importantly, they're going to have a bunch of food. You're all invited and admission is free.

Drink lots of Budweiser. Wear something sexy.
We'll see you at Scotty's.

Check It Out Party People!!

First, thanks to all of you who attended our shows over the last four days. The Wranglers game (how 'bout that national anthem?), our weekend shows at Big Sky, and our all ages Sunday show were great.

Also, check us out Tuesday night, June 22, on TV 55 - KCTU. We're going to be on the Entertainment Hour with Chala & Tony. There are three ways to see this show. 1. Unplug your cable. Hook up your rabbit ears and turn the TV to channel 55. 2. You can watch the show via Real Player software on your computer at the KCTU website, http://www.kctu.com And, option 3, this is perhaps the best option. Come to the KCTU studios tomorrow night, June 22 and watch the show live. The show starts at 7:00, so get there at 6:30.
